DELTA 2015: SUPPORTS FOR DELTA SPEAKER, OCHEI GETS MOMENTUM

The speculated governorship ambition of Engr. Victor Ochei, the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, is gathering momentum by the day.
Several political pressure groups in the state have been endorsing Ochei to be the generally acceptable governorship aspirant fit to succeed Governor Emmanuel Uudaghan come 2015.
Recently, a frontline political group, Delta Focus Group, DFG, inaugurated its Delta South senatorial district chapter with the promise to deliver all the wards in the district for the speaker come 2015 PDP governorship primaries.

The inauguration which was held at the Amawhe Primary School, Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area play ground, had all top functionaries of Delta Focus Group from home and in Diaspora in attendance.
Speaking during the inauguration, High Chief Joshua Okoh, national chairman of the group, stated that the inauguration was part of the group’s moves to enthrone Hon. Victor Ochei come 2015, adding that the aim of the group was to woo PDP delegates to cast their votes for Ochei in order for the state to move forward.
Earlier, Evangelist Gabriel Isibeluo, DFG coordinator Delta south, stated that he would use his prowess as chairman of Isoko Collective Agenda and HOSTCOM to preach the good gospel of Ochei aspiration to the people.
He explained that among the aspirants jostling for the state governorship, Ochei remained the best, as he has shown that the young have more vigour than the old who have spent their force.
“As a speaker, he has removed ‘the toothless bulldog’ slogan that uses to be the name of the House to a vibrant one with the passage of positive bills including the recent anti-kidnapping bill.
