CHIKE OGEAH: FOR EQUITY, DELTA NORTH SHOULD PRODUCE GOVERNOR IN 2015

Question: The three senatorial districts of Delta South, Delta Central, and Delta North are contending for the right to produce the next governor of the state in 2015, and this is already causing tension among the people. Where do you think the next governor of the state should come from?
Answer: What I can tell you is that power is never given and power is not gratis. Nobody gives it to you free of charge. I don’t want to use the word fight, but you must show that you are, indeed, worthy of power. The second thing is that you must also show your negotiation skills with everybody else to let them understand that, indeed, these are the reasons why you want that power.  No matter how ridiculous an argument is, because this is democracy, everybody has their own way of thinking.
