2015: OCHEI IS OUR CHOICE FOR GOVERNOR—ITSEKIRI LEADERS

The people of Itsekiri in Delta State have expressed full support for the governorship ambition of the Delta Speaker, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei as their choice to succeed Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan come 2015.
This was revealed by the pioneer Chairman of Warri South West Local Government Area, Hon. David Atikpekpe, who also stated that the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei is the choice of the entire Itsekiri people for the governor of Delta state in 2015.
The former council boss, who was paid a courtesy visit yesterday by members of the Delta Focus Group, DFG at his country home along Odion road in Warri, Delta state, further noted that since Delta central and south had both enjoyed the seat for eight years each, it is wise to cede it to Delta north.

He said “and the only person qualified for the job is Hon. Victor Ochei. I knew the political terrain of my local government area and we will deliver 100% percent for him in both the primary and general elections. Without mincing words, it is a clear fact that the 2015 governorship position is for Delta north.
“I have made my choice and even the Itsekiri kingdom has made it clear that the governorship of Delta state come 2015 is for Delta north, anything less than that we will not be part of it. Politics in my local government area is not politics of billionaires but of the grassroot, both the Ijaws and the Itsekiris are aware of this fact. In the bible, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can see God but in Warri South West local government area politics, we can see God direct”
“We are aware that there are a lot of governorship aspirants from Delta north, hence we meticulously search for someone who will not betray us, who will take us to the promise land. When I consulted spiritually, I was told that Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei will win the governorship of the state come 2015 because he has all the qualities of the governor Deltans are yearning for”
