DELTA SPEAKER DRUMS SUPPORT FOR GOV UDUAGHAN

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon (Engr.) Victor Ochei, has urged Deltans to continually support the Governor Uduaghan administration in its commitment to the faithful implementation of the three point agenda, as such will provide the necessary impetus for further development.

He made the call during an interactive session with journalists at the end of an inter denominational thanksgiving service commemorating the twenty second anniversary of the creation of Delta State at the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Effurun.

 Hon Ochei cited the education sector as one that has experienced monumental transformation, considering its importance as the bedrock on which any societal development is hinged upon.

He equally commended the Uduaghan administration’s resolve to strengthen the human capital development agendum by way of empowering indigenous contractors who engage available local labour at the specialists’ and other levels, thereby giving vent to the human capital development element of his three-point agenda.

The legislator disclosed that, there could not have been a more auspicious time than now for this advocacy, as such giant stride development in the diverse sub sectors will beaqueath enhanced service delivery to the populace.

He therefore requested Deltans to lend undiluted support to the administration, adding that, “the Delta State Legislature is poised to collaborate with the Executive arm in providing the dividends of democracy to Deltans through progressive legislation”.
